Author of Pedriza Boulder and Pedriza Climbs
Talo Martín
Climber, route developer and a key figure in the La Pedriza area. A prolific first ascensionist around the world and grandson of climbers, he has been devoted to slab climbing and bouldering on this iconic granite since the day he was born. He is the author of both the first and second Pedriza Boulder guides, which bring together thousands of problems and sectors. He also teaches specialised friction-climbing courses, both in Spain and abroad, through his Slabducation methodology. His obsessive dedication to the care of the area, and his love for all things local, are always aimed at giving something back.

Co-author of Pedriza Climbs
Jose Rodríguez
He is a tireless climber, route developer and rebolter who has left his mark not only on the walls of La Pedriza, but also in Cuenca and other crags such as El Fin del Mundo. For more than two decades he has opened new lines on both granite and limestone, and has played a key role in the maintenance and modernisation of dozens of routes, working alongside federations, park authorities and local climbing groups. His technical skill, ethical approach to bolting and passion for making the rock accessible to the community have made him an essential figure in La Pedriza and its surroundings. Without him, his sayings and many of his mad yet brilliantly practical ideas, La Pedriza would not enjoy such a thorough rebolting effort.
